Summers Beauty-Here it is the middle of August already, It is time for the kids to go back to school and my flowers are in their last phase of blooming. It has been a busy time around my house and art studio. A couple of weeks ago my husband Ray had surgery on his leg and hip from his previous injury last year. His hip failed and pretty much his leg wasn’t attached to the hip.

The surgery took 7 hours to do a full hip replacement and a bone graft where the rod is attached to the knee. He is recovering very well and we head back to Salt Lake tomorrow for his check-up. Of course Jet, the dog is chomping at the bit till Ray can drive again and take him out for his desert runs. So here are some pictures of what is happening around my yard.

I love this soft pink rose.
These are heirloom holly hocks. Original seeds from Miracle Hot Springs 25 years ago!

Looks like I transported the bench and plants from Karen’s Place. LOL

Everyone needs at least one red rose.
Bench by front door.
Zucchini in a box. I made the box from pallets.

Hope you enjoy these pictures and of course if you want to use them in your art work I would be thrilled. Happy Summer!
