Sunday photo shoot – lots of inspiration! This morning while drinking my coffee in the sunroom I spied some great stuff out in the yard. Love all the pollen in this shot.

This was a cool one too. I believe he is on a monarda bloom. After fifteen years It’s hard to remember everyone’s name.

The sun shimmering on his wings was pretty wonderful too. I tried to take a picture of a dragon fly but he kept landing on my hand. Apparently he didn’t want to be part of the photo shoot. LOL

Monarch butterflies love tiger lilies. This time of the year, they move from my giant honeysuckle bush to the tiger lily flowers while waiting for the honeysuckle to bloom again.

Almost got two landing but I guess this was close enough.

I wouldn’t be a Sunday morning photo shoot with out some flowers. Purple petunia bloom. The petals look like velvet. So awesome.

Really liked the vein pattern in this petunia bloom. Will definitely use as a design in one of my art quilts.

This is one of my favorite rose bushes in the front yard. I believe it is called blush.

Last night Manny, my grandson and I went to the local market for his overnight snacks. The store had just discounted this cute bird feeder to $5.00. It is about 10″ high. Just like fabric, you can never have enough birdhouses!

Enjoy the heat……
