I love christmas lights during the holidays! My friend Patty came and helped me decorate at the shop this year and I wanted to show you how wonderful it came out. I liked the hanging lights so much they will probably stay up all year long. My first memory of christmas decorations is when I was around eight years old and my mom thumb tacked christmas ornament all over the ceiling in our living room. So sparkly when the lights hit them. Back then everything was shiny and bright with lots of glitter and always over decorated with gobs of tinsel. Every year Ray and I watch “Christmas Story” at least three or four times and remember our childhoods. Now I get to decorate my home and Karen’s Place too. This takes lots of stuff so there is a whole section in the basement of christmas decorations. I probably have 15 christmas trees of different sizes and shapes to accomplish this wonderful task. There are five boxes just for the snowman collection. I started it when my first grandson Logan was in kindergarten. His class was selling stuff to buy more books for the library and I bought a awesome snowman birdhouse. He is now 22 years old. I just realized that it was also the start of my birdhouse collection too. Anyway enjoy these pictures and hopefully they will fill you with holiday spirit…
