Karen’s Place under construction- Today was the beginning of expanding the classroom into the an unused section of the laundromat.  This morning we got up early and drove to Home Depot to get our supplies to build the wall to seal it off from the laundromat business.  Because we are running two businesses here in our building we have to be careful how they are impacted.  Our friend Justin came and helped Ray and I make this exciting project happen.  He was awesome and he was also very excited to take that big window we removed home to use in his chicken coop.  I just love upcycling stuff.  So today was phase one which included sealing it off from the laundromat and removing the window.  One of the coolest parts is to be able to work at my art table and see customers when they come in the front door.  Hopefully in the next couple of days we can do phase two and remove the wall that held the window. Phase three will be removing some of the walls in fabric shop to open everything up…. So enjoy these pictures of our progress…..K
