Easter Projects-Spring is almost here! I made 25 five bunnies for Easter this year. This picture is what is left after I sold them. They are hanging out in my shop at the moment. I love looking at them. It was a lot of trial and error creating them since I didn’t have my bunny patterns. They seemed to have disappeared in the move from Karen’s Place to my current art studio. My goal was to create a bunny that had no sewn-on embellishments, such as eyes nose, etc. Painting them accomplished that goal. Nothing to pull off. The finished product also included the arms and legs sewn in instead of attached later. All age groups can safely play with these 18″ stuffed bunnies.
While going through my quilt stash I found a bunny wall hanging I created for a class a few years ago. It had a single rabbit amongst the flowers and carrots. Last year we became great-grandparents for the first time and wanted a picture to honor that event. It is called “Mommy & Me”. 14″ x 21″. I liked it so well that I made it into kits. This kit includes all fabric for the project and the pieces are precut with heat and bond lite on the back. All you have to do is peel and stick onto the background fabric. I am selling them on my Etsy site “itsattheemporium” at the moment but if you want a kit let me know.
Hope we see these guys soon! Enjoy
I love Spring! All your creations are adorable~~
