Cool fall stuff in the yard- When I took the trash out this morning there was this awesome spider web hanging out by the trash can. It looked something like gause or lace made by nature. Here are two more shots.
look at the incredible water pattern on this web. Nature does it so perfectly! Notice the drops of water on the leaves. It could be a great future art quilt when I can teach myself to paint water. I tried to paint water a couple of months ago. My subject matter was an iris bloom with great water drops clinging to it. When I got done it looked like a flower with smallpox. LOL
Nothing says fall like rose hibs on the rose bush.
Remember those fantastic coleus that grew in front of Karen’s Place. Well, they needed to be in my yard this year at my new place. They come from Moss’s greenhouse as little plants in the spring. The lime green one got so large it is propped up with a metal spike to hold it up.
Here is the last hollyhock bloom in the yard. It looks kind of lonely yet still spectacular don’t you think?
My first pumpkins this year nestled in my husband grandfathers wheelbarrow. His grandfather used it in his brickyard in Weiser Idaho. He made Weiser bricks and a lot of them are on buildings in that area. We have a few that we cherish.
Well, I better go. I am practicing today to record podcasts. It is a new project with my sister Kathy. And a shout out to my other sister Lynn for joining the blog.
Happy Pre-Fall.
I love the rack wall and the pumpkin wheel barrow
I love those rakes too.
Loved these pictures!!!!
I especially like the one about the weiser bricks…
Your Coleus are awesome.. you bring them in during the winter right? Love them… the spiders web are cool too!
When they get that big their stems are very brittle. Last fall I tried to move them home from the art studio and they were broken when I took them out of the car.
Happy Fall to you as well!
We certainly are blessed to live in a State where we can enjoy the ever changing seasons! Thank you for sharing 😊
I believe Idaho is special too!
Thanks Karen, Love the pictures and your coleus’s are amazing.
Lynn
